Ibis Oracular uses the Tarot as a map to identify specific areas where traditional coaching and NLP techniques can be applied. For instance, we might use a variation on the “timeline” approach to resolve a traumatic memory – or set an empowering goal – but we would do it by reference to a specific card or archetype – for instance the Sun for wealth, or the Moon for self-doubt. In this way we intensify how closely the techniques affect us, and cover a lot more ground systematically.

Meta Magick is the modality which I developed to describe how I approach magick – as a trained philosopher, I believe in healthy skepticism – not all “magic” is very useful, and some can delude us significantly – at the same time, a reductive materialist philosophy is equally destructive, cynical, and foolish – meta magick recognizes truths of magical experience as they negotiate and integrate with the scientific and logical mindsets. Meta magick is magic reborn in the “Integral” age, as Jean Gebser would put it.

The Ibisystem is a unique method of meditation which links symbolic ideas to the orbits of different planets, creating overlapping and interacting magical calendars. The deep work of Meta Magick involves learning to become synchronized to the real time movements of the cosmos by contemplating and tracking these calendars.
