Dr. Peter Duchemin is a diverse artist across many media from theatre, to magic,  to painting. He grew up between St. John’s and Ottawa and spent almost a decade living in Hong Kong where he took the Cantonese name Douh Syu Meng, meaning “Road, Book, Bright”. Based in Newfoundland, his work is global in scope and he has played, shown, and presented in dozens of countries across five continents. He currently lives and works creatively in St John’s where he entertains families, makes images, reads Tarot, teaches Kung Fu, and explores reality by actively participating in it.
