Understanding the Mercury Calendar
The Thoth Count is based on the cycles and phases of Mercury, the planet known for communication, travel, and mental agility. Unlike the standard Gregorian calendar, this system tracks Mercury’s position and energy shifts, which can influence how we think, communicate, and act.
Dec 11th - Dec 14th (Days 1-4): Storytelling Circle
The first four days signal a place where you get to articulate your story - and your story in turn, gets to articulate you.
Write down who you are, where you have been, and where you are going.
Ask : what color, texture, flavor is your story?
Find a close friend and share your life stories with each other.
Something is happening. Be open to a new challenge or journey.
Dec 15th - 18th (Days 5-8): Finding your Quest
Out of your circle - and of those you trust, a challenge will arise. Prepare for it, then take it together.
