Tetragrammaton - the four letter name of God is a blueprint for working across the four stages of manifestation: intent, imagination, planning, and taking actions. These letters code the four elements of fire, water, air and earth, and operate in an intricate ecology of four "worlds" unified by a fifth. This four plus one structure also resonates with the observations made by Jean Gebser - that human history is identifiable in five key structures: the archaic, the magical, the mythic, the mental, and the integral - and that these five are one in Origin - an all saturating plenum that we can be trained to ignore, but which in a sense is the fabric of everything - including our doubt in its existence.
The name of god is not a fetish, it is a recipe for the recovery of our originary awareness. The decision point which marks whether this recovery occurs is found in the sphere of Kether, the crown, and most of us are lucky to catch glimpses of this sublime and healing epiphany.
