The Dynamo of Time

Writer's picture: Peter Duchemin, PhdPeter Duchemin, Phd

The dynamo of time is driven by three powers and is witnessed through four stations.

The powers are force, form, and words.

The stations are triumph, loss, defeat, and gain.

When this card appears, it implies that the wheel is turning - and that our experience is shifting gears.

'Good' fortunes and 'bad' fortunes exist, essentially, because of each other - because there is a striving through the stations of the wheel's rim.

The centrifugal force of time is entropy.

There is a fifth station which, for the trued heart, is a centripetal journey.

The grasping turmoil of elation and depression, of heaven and hell spins around a silent, motionless centre.

At the centre of life is the same openness as there is beyond its outer boundary.

Those with hears, ear!

The heart's truest motion is upstream of time: fly, dear eagle into and through the eye of the maelstrom.

Fly direct and true, arrow: through the heart of force, form, and words, and into dawn perpetual-

indeed, in deed- as the needle threads the bead.

Attaineth THOU, the centre.

Beyond time's circle, the spinning madnesses are re-seen by the heart of true, ungrasping wonder.

Your fortune is told - find the door of the heart, and there you will also find freedom.

The key to the wheel is its axle.
