The Taro as Color

The work of Ithell Colquhoun is very interesting - especially her work on color combinations, the tarot, and the tree of the Sephiroth. Here is her image of Malkuth, which combines the colors Citrine, Olive, Russet and black and also sprinkles gold flecks into the mix. Her work built on Golden Dawn color symbolism which was quite exact and complex - and she made it even more precise. Her work is well worth exploring. Color is the essence of these energies.
