The Tetractys

The Tetractys of the Decad is an arrangement that is useful for detecting the layers beneath the surface of a set of events. After shuffling and getting into the magickal mindset, lay out the cards from position 10, back towards one. Read the bottom row (7,8,9,10) as the outwards appearances, the second row up (4, 5, 6) as the meanings behind the appearances, the third row (2,3) as deep causes producing those meanings and the topmost point (1) as the source of the situation itself.
