Week of the Tower

It's Friday, and the time of the Tower is now. This is a time of renovated foundations: we often find that what once empowered us, now restricts us. Our shells must crack for us to grow. We must grow flexible beyond our limits and borders and labels and identities. This can feel painful and frightening - we are vulnerable when we molt - but it is essential.

Your mission this week is to unlabel yourself in some particular area that is hindering you. Take one case where you typically say "I am". "I am an artist", "I am a man/woman", "I am a human", "I am skinny", "I am fat", "I am a scientist", "I am a witch", "I am a Star Wars fan".... whatever - pick a label that you found helpful at one time, but which is now causing your problems.

Look into yourself and notice that there are many many many little towers.... on top of each tower is a crown. Each crown is an "I am" statement. Some of those little towers you want to keep intact, but there will be some that are imprisoning energy that is useful for something else. While contemplating imagine an "I Am Tower" that sequesters some of your life force which you would like back.

Be like a storm-cloud and surround it from above. Be like a sea of mouths and surround it from below.

Strike it hard and fast and crisp with a bolt of lightning. Blow the crown off. Witness all the energy - like golden soup, that filled up that tower. As the walls crumble, the many mouths drink the soup up, every last drop, and the energy that was once locked up in there is returned to the continuum of your fluid potential. The rubble of the tower fades into the earth.

Feel the manifold potential of becoming increased with this act of un-fortifying. Be judicious with this power: use it to unmake unhelpful investments of identity.

Free yourself from a self-made prison today.
