The Lovers signals that relationships with an other - as equal - are paramount.
Here we see that the other is an end in themselves, and by abandoning ‘use’ as the criteria for judging them, we discover a whole new trajectory of experience - an upwards spiral where vulnerability is power: the power to unfold.
This card differs in different decks, but here we see a portrayal of the edenic state -the mode of perception prior to the adoption of dualism.
By tracing the threads back towards the source, and becoming participant to the journey, we finally cross a threshold into the place where ‘opposites’ no longer exist.
This place is the open fountainhead of dynamic creation - a plenum utterly boundless and infinitely abundant.
