Pythagoras called the basic framework "Tetractys", a triangular expression of 1+2+3+4=10. 4 is the bridge between the monad and the decad - between the divine and the world. Four is the bottleneck, the emperor, the table of the divine altar. Four is where authority starts - both its benefits and its flaws. Those who worship it blindly and those who hate it unreservedly are both deluded. It is a moment in the ecology of hyper-reality, and where we know this, we can learn to include it without stopping there. Make the Demiurge transparent.
