Ethics

Ethics is definable as the field concerned with actively determining right action from the natural state of things. This distinguishes it from morality, which tends to involve passive adherence to presented codes of 'right' and 'wrong'. Morality is the shell of ethics.

When this card appears, it is time to be 'trued', to be submitted to the balance, such that one is calibrated ethically, to the real.

This is inevitable - but it also become a question of submission and acceptance. Do we embrace, or defy the Ma'at?

Consider a fulcrum - for that is key: it is the axis mundi that shares responsibility - merit and demerit - weight and value proportionally through the system.

When we invoke justice, we invoke universality - of right AND responsibility.

This is the Ma'at - this is the order of things.

Do not conflate it with institutions that purport to, but do not actually represent justice.

Ma'at is universal, or not at all: we cannot know, possess, or corrupt it. We must only seek it, and accept it's truings.

On the horizon is an emerging, equitable society. It's reality is born in the feather weighed heart.

Hold yourself to truest standards. Put your heart on the scales of Ma'at and follow the way of the truing.
