In the Renaissance, it was dreamt that a person could become an enlightened generalist - a master of universal knowledge. This dream was largely abandoned for several centuries, under the mistaken assumption that "universal knowledge", meant the same as knowing everything - the truth, however, is less quantitative. Universal knowledge means knowledge of how to be universal, which in a sense, simply means, being open, being harmonious, and being humble in the face of eternity. It is this understanding of the renaissance adept that has relevance today. Now is the time for universal knowledge. This is my offering. In this blog, which launches my new site, I will be ruminating on everything - starting with the 32 key themes of the Tarot. I hope you will join me on this journey.
