The paths converge. The truth of the crown converges beneath our feet. Famously "Malkuth is in Kether and Kether is in Malkuth, but after another matter". What does this mean? One account describes the primordial generation of reality as we know it - the Genesis moment - as a condensation of the primordial plenum into a point, followed by a contraction of that point in separation from said plenum. Most people will immediately suppose that this point is Kether, the Godhead, the number 1, crystalizing out of the En Soph in this matter, but consider a different perspective. Malkuth was the first sephiroth to form. It was Malkuth - it was ALWAYS the world - a concatenation from out of the field of the possible which has never been other than it is - and yet an onionskin of shells were cast off from it in its focalization, retroactively establishing distance between the point and the plenum. So, in a way, the Tree was generated by Malkuth projecting backwards - picking out Kether last, as if the whole Tree of Life were a wake trailing behind the densely concentrated, highly bounded world which we have spotlit with our language and our stories and our craft. In a way, this retro-projection of Kether is what makes Malkuth, Malkuth. And the soil of everthing is the Ensoph Aur, the light of thinglessness: an originary openness in which our manifest "world" always and ever sits in and which it is fundamentally OF - even if we have made a way to think that openness into impossibility and inaccesibility. Every when we have encased it in barriers and buffers and ring-pass-nots. So this is creation. From the En Soph, what will be called Malkuth emerges. From this ur-Malkuth, the Tree of life grows. Trees grow from the ground - this is common knowledge - and yet for milennia we have pretended that they come from the sky. So I ask you... is God in the Heaven - or in the Earth? Even more salient - was the Earth EVER unheavenly in the first place? Here we are grounded in the fundamental substantiality of Eternity. We have never been anywhere else. This is the eternal crossroads.
